Just now. Already took morning-after pill just a few days ago. What should we do? Living in Clontarf so which hospital should we go to?

    Thank you.

OP, can you clarify that you had a separate problem a few days ago that required the map, and now a condom has broken today?

Having an IUD coil fitted is an alternative to the MAP.

You can't take the MAP twice in any given cycle, it won't work.

Go back to the GP who prescribed your MAP and get them to advise you.

If you are on the contraceptive pill and are near the end of your packet it is imperative that you do not take a break of seven days and move directly on to a new packet.

Miss Fluff (and OP), this is not medical advice but the MAP can be taken twice in one cycle. However, doctors and chemists do not recommend as it is such a massive dose of hormones it can affect your cycle negatively. Your GP really is the best person to talk to, not much a hospital would be able to do for you.

just as a heads up if this is the second time the condom broke. you may need to look at larger size condoms or the way your putting them on.

+1, this is not medical advice but something similar happened to me back in my college days & I was completely freaked out about the whole thing.
My GP prescribed me the second MAP within the one cycle but advised that as the MAP is never guaranteed 100% effective that had the first one I had taken not worked & I therefore was in fact pregnant, that taking a second one may cause harm to the foetus (due to the large dose of hormones in the MAP). Now there's a lot of what if's there as firstly you would have had to be pregnant from the first "accident" and secondly the first MAP would have had to have failed.

Go to your GP (or if possible the GP that prescribed the last MAP for you), and they will advise you accordingly.

    Best wishes OP.

You should go the doc the ECP is designed to alter your cycle by disrupting your ovulation or fertilization so can cause ovulation to speed up or slow down depending on stage of your cycle,I second the advise about changing condoms where they from the same pack if so check the expiry date, and or type/size of condom . best of luck
