Just finished work and had to say was delighted to see road works on the Headford road roundabout taking place at night.
Its good to see at least one set of roadworks take place when it wont effect the entire city.
If only they could manage this on the bridge and all the other upcoming roadworks

I was amazed when i moved here to see the roadworks didn't have anyone working nights and weekends. Obv the idea isn't to get the work done in the quickest time!

Deadlines with big fines for missing them is what's needed. No chance a private company is going to be slow in those conditions.

There's loads of roadworks happen here at night, mostly in the city centre. E.g. the Pearse Street stuff happening at the moment.

I remember pipe laying work in Claregalway was done at night - didn't get a good night's sleep all week.
