Canon EOS 350D Kit Purchase

    1st time post on the photography forum. A colleague has offered me the following kit for €300, just wondering if it's good value.
    EOS 350D
    EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 II lens
    EF 75-300 1:4-5.6 III USN lens
    Lowepro Slingshot 100AW bag

    What's a fair price?

    Thats a fair price for Camera, 2 lens and bag.
    The camera is a bit dated at this stage but if you are happy with it while testing then go for it.

    Just wondering how would a Nikon D3000 compare to the 350D.

    I know I'm not getting a a long lens with the nikon, but could add at a later date if it was a much better camera.
