    Hi All,

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me what the salary should be for the AITI after passing each set of exams? I am not a CA so I had to start on Part One.

I am starting Part Two in October. I passed Part One earlier this year. I just can't find information online about what the expected salary should be after passing each stage.

I've taken on a number of tax trainees over the years.

Typically we started them on a salary equivalent to a new accountancy trainee, but there was never any subsequent linkage to accountancy trainees, and they were paid what they were worth. Good trainees got large pay rises and poor ones were invited to leave.

They wouldn't be on a fixed contract, so they get reviewed like any other staff.

There are no set guidelines like accountancy so it's up to the employer and employee
