Online proofing - no website

    Hi All
Am just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good online proofing site.
I'm really a hobbyist but have recently done some portrait shoots for friends and family. I want to be able to send them proofs as they don't live nearby.
I don't have a website so am not sure how i'd go about setting this up. I know i can create an online gallery directly from LR, but - no website!
ANy thoughts or suggestions for a good (preferably free) host site?
Sorry if this has been asked before!
    Thanks in advance

pix.ie or flickr.com or picasa, or indeed any one of a number of similar and free gallery services.

Or email, if it's a once off.

Avoid twitpic. Many people here use Pix.ie & flickr

I find pix great, as it looks nice, I can queue multiple pictures from different folders, and you can link different size pictures to people.

    Thanks guys for your input

I have 3 different families to set this up for at present and therefore one off emails is going to be a pain in the *rse for a gallery of photos for each fam!
Ideally I'd like to be able to set up something where i can give them a login and password and that only they will be able to see the proofs?

I am hoping to do a bit more work in this area going forward so if i could set something reasonable up now then that would be cool. I'm not adverse to spending a little bit of money for the service but something reasonable you know?

Do you guys know if the sites you've mentioned require them to have their own logins or have privacy settings so that only they will be able to view the gallery?

    Sorry for the ignorant Q's!

photobucket.com is one site that you can get it to ask for a password.

You can also make direct links to the album.

    For example: http://photobucket.com/PasswordProtectExample
    The password is: password

You can personalise the background of the album as well.
