3 UPC boxes, 2 Cards?

Can I switch a card between 2 UPC boxes and receive channels or
    will UPC find this objectionable?

Don't really want another multiroom change but would like to watch tv in a third room occasionally.
    Wiring etc is already there.

    Cheers.

Nope, each card is paired to it's box during provisioning. It won't work in another box without UPC re-provisioning the card.
