Hey, we bought a mobile home recently in North County Dublin area, and plan to live in it 10 months of year and rent for the colder months.

Theres electric heaters in the bedrooms currently, but was thinking of getting a little wood burner.

I checked out a few places and most of them were pretty dear! 4kw stoves for 400euro for the smallest one!! Sounds cheap but its the fitting thats expensive. I was on to a place outside navan called first class stoves (has anyone dealt with them?) The smallest stove with them is 390, 4kw aswell, its 250 labour to fit and then between 200-300 on the flue, flashing, little top hat -to stop rain comng in, all in about 890 incl vat.

I found a stove on done deal for 199euro the same as this place but I dont know how to fit it myself and and handy man ive spoken to are reluctant to do it for some reason and although they might say cheaper, it could end up more in long run?

    Any advice???
