Road Open License Refund

    Hi,

    i was wondering what the story is with getting a refund on the road open license
    can anyone remind me?
    im in DLRCOCO.

    The usual procedure is to contact the Area Engineer of the relevant coco when you are re-instating the Road Opening. (Let them see that you are using the correct materials and following their guidelines re: reinstatement).

    When you are finished reinstating, contact the AE again to view that the work is complete and confirm that it is up to standard. (This is very important to contact them because the clock does not start ticking on the 'monitoring period' until they inspect the finished reinstatement).

    Then you wait, (2 years from memory), and contact them after this period has lapsed. They should then refund your money (less any money they deem necessary to keep to repair 'poor' reinstatments). This is why it is very important that they view the reinstatement!
