    Hi,

This is the most recent information on cspca, front page of Evening Echo:-

Perhaps a lot more people will be interested in the date of the next AGM.

Sinn Féin Councillor Chris O'Leary, who has paid two official visits to the centre says that there are underlying issues with the centre that are of a concern.
"I became a member of the society in 2010 and since then there has been no AGM. There is no public interaction with the public. I have an hidden agenda here, it's about the welfare of the animals. If the CSPCA's issue is with lack of funds then why are they continuing?
"Maybe it's time that the Cork City Council tenders out for a new dog pound and a dog warden. This is a case of double standards though, I can't understand how the CSPCA are getting away with this, they need to be held to account for the deficiencies found in the report. Ordinary people are concerned for the animals and it's wrong."

If you want more information about the treatment of the animals in the CSPCA please see the facebook plage
Friends of the animals of the CSPCA. they have been tring to improve the conditions inside the center for months.

the CSPCA has been diss-assicated from the ISPCA since 2002 because of low standards. the comittee needs to be removed!!!

    Thank you AshAdele,

Highly recommend that everyone goes to the Friends of Animals in CSPCA Facebook page.

For a snapshot of what is going on, please look in the photo section and look for the posters for Trudy, Dolly, Mylo, Kitten, Maggie, Emily and the cspca student placement's experience.

The committee and staff are bringing SHAME on Cork.

How can Committee members of CSPCA enjoy blood sports and say that it is not cruel. Why are they on a Committee of a "Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals". Hunting animals for enjoyment is not a "sport" and there is absolutely no way that anybody who enjoys such a bloody "sport" should be on a Committee for the "Prevention of Cruelty to Animals". We are not talking just dogs and cats - but cruelty to ALL ANIMALS. They will not say when their AGM is being held. Dedicated volunteers who were totally committed to walking the dogs and who travelled long distances to do so are not allowed to walk the dogs anymore. The dogs are all caged up - that is cruelty.
