Which is the best option for a sport mad family. Currently they have UPC but not happy with the quality with basic digital package? I don't watch sports, so haven't a clue. Thought I'd ask here.

Sky has full interactive service via red button for a lot of sport,UPC doesn't.A good example is Champions league coverage where you have a choice of 8 matches live on any given night.
ESPN & ESPN America are now part of the sports package on Sky.

Sky provide a superior tv package compared to UPC.

Another option is Freesat and a Foreign Subscription package such as Tring or Al Jazeera Sport (have a look at the foreign satellite thread for info)
