    i was sickened to read babs keatings criticism of lar corbett,
    eoin kelly, and john o brien ,
    he said they failed him in 07 and were failures again on sunday,
    he is just a bitter twisted old man,
    at this stage he is an embarrassment

    Us limerick folk have never liked babs since his dry ball stunt in 71 the crafty hoore.

    Babs is talking through his wallet on this one id say. Hes fit for a nursing home and not a tv/radio studio at this stage.

    Babs is a sad, sad man. Still stuck in the early 90s/ late 80s.

    Babs is an odd ould codger, trying to make a buck, giving his opinion in as controversial a style as possible. What's weird and odd about him is the way he takes swipes at his own county whenever he gets a chance, it appears he has an axe to grind with a lot of people in the current Tipp set up.

    He wrote a scathing article in the Sun or the Star - one of them tabloids - in May of last year after Tipp lost in the first round v Cork. Tipp came back through the qualifier route and ended up winning the All Ireland. I doubt very much if anyone in Tipp takes much notice of Babs anymore.

    had trouble finding the article op, but i read babs article in the sun on saturday before the game and he said tipp would win by 3/4 points, there was different side to the article the next day
