I have a rubber seal coming adrift from under the Ford emblem, anyone know how to remove the emblem and possibly the chrome trim strip as per this pic so I can try and re-seat the seal?

    Cheers.

I haven't done it on a focus but on my own car.

    Here's how:

    Open the boot (obviously)
Take out all the fasteners and remove the trim.
This should leave all the nuts etc. exposed
Loosen the nuts you think are right ones and shake the trim on the outside to check
A lot of these kind of things often have double sided foam tape holding them on aswell so be careful removing it.

If the above isn't viable, I would think it's held on with tape and maybe a screw located behind the Ford logo.

If it's double sided tape Ford will be getting a strongly worded letter!

    Thanks for the tip.
