Passat Warning light problem

    Every now and again when im driving my 2003 vw passat T(DI) the warning light that uusually is on when the handbreak is on beeps and flashes 3 times, seems mostly when i turn around corners, its the - ( ! ) symbol on my dash, anyone know what might be going wrong?

    Have you ensured your handbrake is fully down when this happens? They have sensitive levers. This can result in the warning lamp illuminating and the audio sounding.

    Low level of brake fluid? Warning light comes on when going around a corner as the fluid moves off the sensor in the reservoir perhaps.

    I think the light on the dash is used for different warnings to do with the braking system on that age of VAG car.

    Think you should be able to see the brake fluid reservoir under the bonnet to see if it's below (or around) the minimum level.

    Ah the handbreak is fully down, Thanks ill check the break fluid when im going out later :)
