recommend a 7 seater

due to expanding family, need a 7 seater. We have a budget of about €5,000 and are looking at Opel Zafira or Ford Galaxy.
Any comments positive and negative appreciated. Living in Meath if know any trustworthy car dealers in the area :rolleyes:

The thing with MPVs the size of a Zafira is that the boot is sacrificed for the use of the 3rd row of seats. So you either carry alot of people and very little luggage or very little people and alot of luggage. Ford Galaxy is a full size 7 seater and there are plenty within budget. Also look at the Seat Alhambra and VW Sharan, all 3 of the ones within your budget are the same vehicle and share most engines.

Another one to consider if you don't do big mileage is the Toyota Avensis Verso, majority of them here were only sold in petrol so ideal if you only want it for short school runs.

The a big difference in size between the Zafira and the Galaxy. Personally I go for more space and get a Galaxy.
