OK so I wasn't sure where to post this and decided here since it's an open source product... Mods can move if to where-ever..

I'm waiting on delivery of a new Laptop (today fingers crossed), Win7 loaded but not paying for MS Office, plan is to use Open Office and Mozilla Thunderbird as mail client..

Will I be able to copy over my .pst file from outlook 2000, and then import this into Thunderbird to get my mails?? I've read that I need Outlook installed to import the .pst file, and I've read it is possible anyway without outlook.

If not is there another free mail client I could use that would allow this..

Incidentally can MS Office 2000 be loaded onto Win7?? I'm thinking no but thought I'd throw it out anyway

    Help appreciated
