    hi folks
A quick QR question for you...is a QR code permanent or do they expire? I want to put one on an album cover for a link to band website.
    Thanks in advance. :)

The data (URL) is encoded within the QR code, and doesn't rely on any outside source so yeah, as permanent as the URL is.

It depends on the type of QR code you choose. A static QR code is permanent and won't expire, making it perfect for your album cover linking to the band's website. Once generated, a static QR code retains its functionality indefinitely. On the other hand, dynamic QR codes may have an expiration, but for a band website, a static QR code ensures a lasting connection. Use a reliable QR code generator like QR TIGER to create your static QR code for a timeless link on your album cover. This way, fans can enjoy easy and permanent access to the band's website.

Just make sure the URL for the bands website is right... i.e. some websites have https not http, some have www and some now don't, etc.
