    Hi all,

I had a root canal done on an upper right pre-molar last week. At the moment i'm sitting with a temporary soft type of filling, and underneath that *I think* are the antibiotics doing their work. (also have been taking oral antibiotics).

this temporary filling is directly above a pointy part of a pre-molar on the bottom, so when i bite down the tip of my bottom tooth is pressing against the temp filling. Somehow (during the night i think) i bit down quite hard and pushed that filling up into my tooth quite high. My tooth is now quite tender and i'm worried that it may get infected again. Is this an actual issue? I'm to go back on monday to get the rubber and permenant filling put in. is it okay to wait until then or should I try get in earlier to get dentist to see if infection is coming back?
