Advice requested. I'm training for DCM at present but have to go to a wedding in Newcastle in two weeks time. I'll need to do a serious LSR on the Saturday morning. Has anyone got any ideas on a good location to do this? I'll have a car so I can drive to the LSR start point.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Great North Run loop might be one option. Should be marked out by then as the race is the next day. Obviously the roads wont be closed but could always follow the paths along the side.

Is that not a point to point (Newcastle to South Shields)?
