havent used the central heating in a few weeks and now when i turn it on the pump starts but the gas burner wont ignite. I've tried the reset option numerous times but no luck. Its a ferroli tempra 24.
The quickstart guide says if the reset doesnt work then to try the instructions in the section called "Troubleshooting" in the manual. The problem with this is there is no such section\heading\paragraph
Time to call a service engineer?

There could be a number of things causing your Ferrolli Temperamental to fail so time for an RGI I'm afraid my friend.

slighht chance, the water pressure may have fallen, mine needs to be topped up by opening a switch a few times a year, I THINK this tells the machine not to fire up. there will be a gauge showing the pressure, below one bar is low. This may not be correct, its rattling round my head.

sounds like low water pressure or the pump is stuck mate i maybe wrong but as i am rgi and a service engineer thats what i am guessing from your info, its time to get your engineer out im afraid to inspect it:D

Low water pressure could very well be the cause of the problem. your pressure guage should read around 1.5 bar. Other things it could be is a faulty air pressure switch or weak fan. These are just suggestions on what could be wrong but I wouldnt go messing with it yourself get an RGI to look at it in my opinion. hope this helps
