    Just check the labels of the brand. Skiing specific jackets have gaiters, and yoke to clip below/around your back, so snow wouldn't get into your pants/under shirt when you are sliding 200meters on black piste:}}

    Option A:
    1)T, Base layer, Shell jacket (5k/5k and up) - Pricey.

    Option B:
    2)Insulated jacket, tapered zips (5k/5k and up) - less expensive.

    If you see breathability and evaporation stats - you are choosing right. Best around are Gore tex xcr, but most pricey, also tend to be shells only, which are basically 200EUR worth 300g of fabric, no insulation, no nothing, just to keep you dry, not warm. And those who have insulation cost 400eur and up.

    Iguana is less known manufacture. Probably same low level as Trespass, Diel. Where Spyder/Mammut, Burton are the ones to chose.

    As I checked TKmaxx this few days ago, there's nothing that'd be high level tech clothing, but most of items sold there for winter are way much more than suitable for skiing. Including Iguana.

    I'm familiar enough with bands and what to look for but had never heard of Iguana before. Spec of the jacket is good but I'm not going to invest they seem to be cheap manufacturer out of Hong Kong with no reputation and few retial outlets online or physical.
