How long does it take for the welfare to cop on?

i might be a week or 2 short of the required 9 months on d social so think i might claim 2 or 3 weeks into the course how do the social welfare find out if youv registered into a course?

Certain institutions are required to make returns to the DSP.

What is the 9 month limit?

sorry 9 month requirement to get btea im not sure if they are flexible if your slightly short of the required time

ya but dont you have to apply for the btea? so it will take time processing that etc and they arent thick enough to think the course starts in october if it takes that long .

your able to apply 30 days after the commencement date if youv a good reason :O i had to defer last year because of financial reasons this would sort me out
