You should be able to print out a copy in the library after registration...if they're not there, Your school (science/engineering etc) will have a noticeboard You can take down, check and update the timetable until it settles after a few weeks. Ask one of Your lecturers where it is located.

I was speaking to a lecturer today he said blackboard won't be working till tomorrow some stage they are updating it or something!!
we just got our timetables today off our lecturer...

It won't be only till next week if not Sunday.

Most of the systems are being updated at present.

The timetables will be available through Blackboard. As another poster said, noticeboards at your school office are your best bet.

Also, make sure you check your timetable on a friday for the following week until at least October. There is a lot of chopping and changing for the first few weeks.

Ms Happy have you any idea as to why I can't log into blackboard anymore or my email? Is the whole system down perhaps or is it just an issue with my account?

if you are a non first year student you should be able to log in to black board after registration when you get your new id card and you do the HEA survey thing on the computers to create a new password. if you are a first year then I havent a clue sorry

It's possible that the system isn't actually live yet. The exam board was only on Thursday, I'd reckon it'll all be live from next week.

I'll just wait a few days and see what happens

Hi I was unable to log in last week swell and I registered in college today after I got my student card you go to one of the computers in the library and create a new password. It takes about 15 mins to work. I have no problems logging in to blackboard after today. So perhaps when you get your student card and new password it will work if not I would prob go ask a member of staff about it. Best of luck, college is a little unorganised this year.

That's just not good enough in my opinion. They should be put up in advance and not weeks after. Its such a simple thing really and they cant get that right.

They can't be put up weeks in advance as they have to have confirmation of numbers for each class group to match up capacity in rooms....

The school offices put timtables up on Fridays for the following week.

There is a major upgrade os some of the college systems at the moment too. When it's done things in the backround will be alot better :)

Does this mean I have to go college blind tomorrow? Be in college at 9 just to go check my timetable? :(

Then what happened if I see my time table and it say first class is at 1? :(

Timetables are up on the notice boards if you know of anyone who has seen them already maybe they could let you know or if your near the college today pop in for a look or send an email to your course director. Otherwise unfortunately it's a 9 o clock start. :(

I was in at 10 this morning and they still were not up (2nd year science). It's honestly not good enough imo. How organising timetables baffles this college every year I don't know!

I don't think we should really have to call offices to find out our timetable. They should be more easily available to us

You were working out of the high performance place last year, right?I was just having a leaf through the handbook and the general fitness suite, high performance gym and a spinning room are being located into the new building. If they just had an indoor running track and a olympic pool in there too I would be made up :D

I'd say we might be in limbo for a week or two untill they open the new place officially.

I hope they open it soon :) I also hope the HP gym is not always occupied with the rugby guys. I guess I have to forget about the timetable till tomorrow.

Well I am a fourth year student and my timetable was up on the science notice board, I dunno why some are up and others aren't.

The new gym spinning room sauna steam room is opening in October and Prices will go up but it will be no more than 60euro for the whole year.

Oh sugary lumps, college is so organised
A member of staff mentioned all the wonderful things that should be opened by now and the sauna and steam room were on her list so hopefully it will be there but prob won't open till about ten years time and by then there will be no car park. Just buildings.
