    Does anyone know if we had a power cut today?

    All the alarm clocks in the gaf were a bit messed up!!

    Yes, it went off just as the lunch was half cooked.

    I think the ESB faults phone message said it effected Bray and "central Greystones".

    Yeah, it crashed the PC earlier today so had a little trouble recovering files when power came back! Even when you save regularly, there is still the issue about what files were open at the time of power cut. Do I have to go buy a UPS if these guys are going to be inept? :mad:

    Yes it was gone for about 45 minutes in all of Charlesland

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
