Buffer tank?

Hi I was wondering if anyone could advise me. I am after getting quotes for a buffer tank/thermal store off three different companies. We are building a 2800 sq ft house. We are having radiators upstairs and underfloor downstairs. We want to connect our solar, solar fuel and oil condensing boiler to the tank and everything to be connected off it. My question is what size should the store be. We have been told 600l, 800l and 1000l from all the different companies. Any help appreciated. Thanks

    I have the same challenge

On the topic of integration of these then I am building a pool of knowedge which once I have digested into something others can consume then I will share

On the modelling there seems nobody who do this with tthis many inputs and outputs (and sound convincing that the numbers stack up)

please PM me if you are able to do this

The primary reasom for a large buffer tank is to use as a heat dump for the solid fuel boiler, it's difficult to switch off a log burner so it needs a large tank to offload all the heat generated burning it's load.
