Inconspicious Cars

What car would you think is most undesirable for a thief to steal? We see Avensis alloys being stolen and sometimes cars just being lifted for no reason.

My questions is, what car would be most boring that it wouldn't even be considered stealing? Joyriders generally rob small starter cars...

I was thinking something like a VW Caddy with wheelchair accessibility. Who would want to steal that?? :D

Not that I am in anyway trying to scam disabled parking, you need a cert for that, of course.:o

If it has value its a target

I know... but what would be undesirable? Though now that you mention value, the wheelchair accessible caddy would be great for being a thief due to its inconspicuous-ness.

Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio. You could do so much better if you're going to swipe something. In saying that there's been a few attempts on my sisters Kia Ceed for some reason that I can't fathom.

I recall some time ago on here a few folks making reference to 'regular' cars going missing. Think the concensus was that they are good for scummers to use for fitting in when up to no good.

Even non-starters are going missing these days ...

Buy a car and insure it.

It's the insurance companies problem if it goes missing

You guys are on the wrong wavelength.

Start at the beginning, why does a thief want your car?

If its fast etc It'l be a getaway job, ie a quick 4 door.

They may decide on a ram raid, ie your 4x4 is toast.

If its an assination job a three door may suffice.

Either way they'll all be burned out and you'll get yer insurance payout.
