I could see other people making these pages for other courses so I thought I'd make one for Music students.

    I'm Jon and I'm a guitarist from Wales. :)

All my grades are in Jazz playing but I play a bit of everything really. I've got a custom Yamaha Pacifica, FC Yamaha and a Freshman Apollo 3OC. I'm using a Spyder 2 amp :) Yourself?

Nice! Yamaha's are really nice, I've got a strat that I put together myself, a tanglewood acoustic (it's one of the old ones with the tree on the headstock) and a blackheart little giant for the halls (Ive got a 15w plexi clone I'll be keeping at home) are you staying in halls? Thank god! another person who does jazz! What grade have you got and who do you listen to?

Can understand why you wouldn't want to bring the Plexi cone to halls XD. I'm on the waiting list for halls, hopefully get a place since I'm an international student :)

Got Grade 8 this year (just) with LCM RGT exam board so I'm all ready for the degree! Like a bit of Herbie Hancock, Q and The Don Ellis Orchestra. What grade are you?

Ah it's a bit loud for halls (seriously, seriously loud, never had to turn it up above halfway, even in un-miked gigs)

Sweet, I did grade 4 a few years ago then didnt have the money to continue lessons, I'm into t-bone walker, willie dixon, robert johnson all the old blues stuff! Used to be a big Joe Pass fan but the phase slipped by! There are a couple of bassists in halls as well looking at another thread, we should definetly get a jam on!
