Jetta 1.4 tsi Sport

    Just looking around at some Jettas. Be about a 2009 or so i would be interested in. Ideally i would be looking at the 140BHP engine. Even from a Google search, not a whole lot comes back in relation to common problems etc. Is there anyone here who has the low down on them? Obviously every car has the odd few problems but is there anything in particular that should be looked out for?
    Strange to do a search on google and not find much seeing as my last car threw up soo many pages and unsolved problems! i.e. BMW N42 engine :mad::mad:

    Try searching Golf 140 instead.

    I'd imagine most Jetta 1.4 TSi models sold were the 122bhp version. The most common problems with the Golf 1.4 TSi were with the 170bhp version. I'd doubt you will find a 170bhp version of the Jetta in this country anyway.
