    Just reading this.

    Makes you wonder if it is the mindset of the whole squad and management.
    There are other threads where posters are being accused of being pessimistic, but this is essentially from the horses mouth - it they don't believe they will perform well then it doesn't say much for the squads expectations.

    I think, personally, that after playing like girls for more then a year these guys should just shut up now and do whatever talking they want to do ... ON the field.

    No I read the whole piece. As a member of a world cup squad its not what I expect to hear and wonder if that is the squads mindset, thats all.

    Different perspective here so more likely the journo took it out of perspective. Thats more like the stuff you would expect to hear.

    I don't think that's what he's doing. I think it's nice to hear something a bit more honest than the usual bland soundbites you hear from Kidney and O'Driscoll; and that's what you tend to get from O'Gara.
