Does anybody know of any websites, similar to booking.com that allow you to book hotel rooms at a slightly discounted price?

It's not a last minute thing, so none of those websites are good for me!

I haven't come across any particular site which is always cheaper. In fact, I have, on some occasions, found a variety of prices for the same hotel. What I sometimes do, is to book accommodation with www.booking.com which allows me to cancel for free at a later date. Then I can get down to some serious searching and this often pays-off. However, it can be a bit time-consuming!

I sometimes use alpharooms.com and hotels.ie, if you're looking for somewhere in asia asiarooms.com is good too

Hi, booked hotel with this company for Christmas period in Gran Canaria, paid in full and received invoice, voucher etc. then received email this evening from them telling me the following_

"Due to a contract loading error the hotel has not been able to accept your attempted booking. Unfortunately we do not offer bed and breakfast at this hotel for this period.
The rates displayed to you when booking were displayed as a result of a technical error and the hotel will not accept them from us.

In line with our terms and conditions, we do reserve the right to cancel a contract if the listed price is incorrect.

We apologise for the obvious inconvenience this error has caused you. We have already authorised and processed your refund to enable you to search for an alternative hotel.

If you require any further assistance in identifying a suitable alternative please contact our sales team on 0114 2515005.

when I tried ringing them, no answer. I then went onto their website, and others, and there is very little (if nothing at all) available at all for this period. have looked at the T@Cs and it seems they are covered for any mistakes they may make, but the customer appears to have to pay penalties for any they may make!!

So annoyed, and this seems so unfair, I had assumed once booked, this was a legally binding contract, it says on the voucher received after payment:
The legal contract for the supply of your accommodation is between you and GLORIA AMADORES who act as principal on this booking. Accommodation providers terms and conditions will apply to this booking.

Would appreciate if anyone could give any advice/help in relation to this.

I recently booked with alpharooms.com, I got a hotel with them with breakfast and dinner included for 20 euro more than I could have booked the same hotel on hotels.com for room only !!
