Springboard - Carlow IT - Cert in mechanical engineering

    Hi there,
    Has anyone who applied for this course been accepted?
    I received an inital email looking for my CV but to date have heard nothing.
    According to the Springboard website this course was due to start on September 1st and I cant speak to anyone from Carlow IT, any time I have phoned I get to listen to a pre-recorded message.

    thank you for your reply. I tried this number again but the telephone message still states that all Springboard queries will be replied to via email next week, this is the message that I got LAST week when I phoned. I'll give it another day or two and then try again if I havent received anything via email.

    i hear your pain pookie.... I've left e-mail messages and voice messages with the place but haven't had a reply from the college at all. Got accepted by springboard and got a start date, but no start time, directions, nothing. Very poor form.

    I was accepted for this course months ago, as it happens they also offered me another one which i took instead.
    But yes you should definitely have heard something by now and they are contactable by phone and email!

    tried to find the lifelong learning centre in the college today. First time in there. Reception were not much help but know I know it is on the ground floor.... can anyone help?

    Life Long Learning is right beside reception.

    Do you know/ or did you see where Costa Coffee was? Life long learning is right beside it.
    OR-
    If you have your back to reception turn left and walk straight ahead about 20ft. you can't miss it.

    If you don't mind me asking, how were reception not helpful?? Life Long Learning is so close by!!

    i was told to go past the coffe shop (first time in the building so all i know is where the door in is, and where reception is!), keep going straight, it's through the double doors on the ground floor..... there's a helluva lot of double doors on ground floor and the whole area looks like 1 big canteen area! (first impressions!) I will try again with your helpful directions, thanks.
