I searched and didn't see a thread for season 7, if there is one feel free to delete this one.

It's back Sept 21st in the US, no idea on when it's back here but I heard maybe not 'til January Although that may just be RTE, Living seem to show everything at US pace these days.

Also apparently JJ will be a profiler now too.... Not sure how I feel about that one, but at least she might get more story lines now?

I heard that too and it made me laugh. I know he took that stuff that Dawson was giving him way back when he was kidnapped, but apart from being a moody brat for a few episodes it wasn't really much of a big deal. I'm still wondering if they'll ever address his headaches again?

If Living aren't showing it at US pace I can't decide whether to watch it online or wait until January when it'll probably be on RTE? Thoughts?

^ I was watching a really old episode the other day and Reid was talking about schizophrenia and was saying something about headaches. I was thinking that would be an interesting way to go, especially considering his mothers history.

I'll def be watching online and then again once it airs here. Can't get enough of CM even now in the evenings I watch the repeats on living, they never get old.

I did like the way Reid

annoyed the Judge-type guy with his knowledge of precedent though.

Sooner this gets back to psycho of the week the more I'll like it.

There was contract issues and they thought they would be getting rid of Reid (my only reason for watching religiously!) So they wrote that in, but then they did not renew A.J. Cooks contract and Paget also left so that is why it went to the way-side for a bit, now that the girls are back and they have secured a contract off MGG who knows what the story will be with his headaches now.

Just personal speculation here, but in Miami for the weird Afro Caribbean religions episode they had the religious fellow tell Reid it was the demons of his work, thy may just toss him to a few counselling sessions now to write it off, get him to talk about family life, helping people and people leaving and miraculously they may never be heard of again.

Seaver will not be staying either. And in true class they actually failed to tell her this, she found out online like all the fans. According to what I have read, they don't even bother killing her off/inform the team she is going else where, etc, she merely just is in one episode and gone the next!

Season 7 starts on Living on 7th October. Think I'll just wait and watch it then. Thought it'd be January before it was back on.

Second ep was very creepy, but then all the episodes used to be like that. So you could say it's a return to form.
Loved all the team interactions, especially Reid being more annoyed with JJ than Prentis or Hotch. They used to have a really good friendship going on there, even if the show forgot about it for a season or two. So yeah, it was nice to see them all interacting like that again.

My hopes about the returning character - what if

he came back as an adversary? He was pretty unhinged at the end of season 2. It would make great TV if he had flipped to the dark side, and it was him vs. the BAU!

I'm not sure how up to speed you are on CM but a situation presented itself in the last episode which is has the potential to be hugely traumatic for one of the main characters and which could result in them having to leave, if not

be imprisoned for assisted suicide.

So, the returning character could fill their shoes. But you're right, your idea would be brilliant television.

You cant say that!!! I am only seen to season 7 episode 3, I was barely able to remain controlled enough to not watch it online, but now you have sent that out the door and I need to get the other 2 that are available online! I need to know!!!!!!

I cringed at the knowledge that episode 8 would be a Garcia-centric episode, but this one was probably the best of the season so far. Great job by Jack Coleman too.... it was about half way through the episode before I figured out who the actor was (I didn't recognise him without the glasses)

Anyone think that they've gone a bit overboard with all the Garcia stuff this season! Seems much more of the awkward moments where she says something in the wrong company/while on speaker! Just seems to be getting done too much!!

In fact, it's a major turning point in Prentiss' life as she finally processes coming back from the "dead" after Hotch and JJ (A.J. Cook) faked her death to evade her IRA nemesis Ian Doyle (Timothy V. Murphy) last season.

Not their fault tbh, they are up to date with the US series from what I saw on there a few weeks back. In the US the show seems to be taking two weeks off between episodes.

Looking at the air dates for the current season in the US and there's been a lot of breaks. looking at the air dates they really have stretched this season out well past the 24 weeks it should have taken to air the entire season.

Just watched the season finale and it's not a bad end to a pretty decent season. It's nothing we haven't seen a dozen times before but at least there was a sense that the writers were trying something different. Was kinda hoping that the unseen partner would turn out to be Gideon but alas tis not to be. Would be great to see him return as a villain, maybe like Doyle last season it could be an ongoing storyline.

That was a pretty decent ending although it was too like the Hotch-Reaper fight.

The first episode of the two-part finale was better.

Interesting to see what news transpires between now and season 8
