Was in B&Q last night looking at flooring and the chap I was dealing with told me to come back tomorrow or Thurs evening when they have a 20% off everything promotion! It's for friends and family. Didn't see or hear anything about this but good to know! Don't know if it's for the whole day or just evenings.

Anyone with a voucher scan? Need to buy some stuff today so timing would be perfect if I can get one

best thing if you don't get one is head along and ask
One of the promos before the lady at the checkout had the vouchers and was going to give me one (i had one with me) all i had to do was fill in the details to get the discount

Thanks Tockman - you just saved me a trip to Liffey Valley this evening. They have something I need but I need it 20 percent cheaper than what they are selling it for at the moment

It's actually a double discount 20% instead of 10%, for Diamond Card holders (senior citizens) so drag your Granny over to Liffey Valley tomorrow.

Same here in Cork, with the understanding that this is an unofficial "friends & family" offer before shopping I put on my best poker face and asked the cashier about it, she replied that there is no offer on unless I am over 60, that's so ageist ;)

Was in Liffey Valley last night buying 2 new electrical saws - both on special offer.

Went to the cash desk, and the sales lady opened up another pay station and gave me another 20% off the total. she said it was its part of their "eco green week" or something, and that they were allowed to give out this discount on those who were buying major purchases, not just nuts and bolts on their own.

I saved another €25 on top of the €55 from the reduction already on my items.

    Happy days.

    Thanks nice lady!
