I did do a search but couldn't find anything!

Does anyone know what the situation is with the grant if you are on a paid work placement for the year as part of your degree?
I'm in the middle of applying for one at the moment but am wondering if they'll even accept my application. Am I considered a full time student if I am on work experience?
Also I have been on to my college and they can't work out whether or not I am going to need to pay the registration fee this year. If I don't have to pay the fee will i get the grant?

Anyone have any idea of what the chances of me getting the grant are?
