    4 from what you have there, but it may be heavy to lug around so I go for 1.

    Don't think you could go too far wrong with any of them TBH, 1,2 or 3 (probably pick 2 personally for the 500Gb HDD) unless as Hal said you don't mind lugging a 17" into college every day.
