Hi Myles I have gone through the Tournaments sheets again and i am 100% sure that you didnt have enough points to qualify. Sorry for any incovenience. Ian
Firstly
I’m not disputing whether I qualified or not, I didn’t 43 points from the required 50
(first one to admit I’m a bad player)
I always enjoyed playing there, great bunch of players (mostly) and the food at break 100%.
What I did have a problem with is “I asked for the list of qualifiers “ 4 to 5 times last night and then was left standing outside Bruno’s office for 10-15 mins while they tried to get my details from your super login system and told me my points (which I knew).
I wanted the list because I was curious to see how many of the house players had qualified, you know the ones that come outa the woodwork when there is a sniff of an overlay.
AND
I don’t agree that a player can join a tournament after the break, which happened Monday week….. (Ohh!! yeah there was an overlay that night) J
So to recap:
I’m not pis### because I didn’t qualify.
I’m pis### for other reasons (see above)
I hope the powers that be realise, just because were poker players doesn’t mean were stupid or blind.
It’s a nice club and run well with the exception of above.
As they say in the Dragons Den “I’m out”
Please remove from your database…

4. Please note that Under the Data Protection Acts we can't disclose or discuss matters regarding any other members of our Club

I would like to point out I’ve been out for a few beers tonight and anything I say or mention should be viewed in that contex….. (will ediit any labials remarks when sober in the morning)1. “we have altered our data base” thank you I was thinking of invoking “Section 2(1) (c) of the Data Protection Acts 1992” just kidding
2. I play poker for fun, don’t get me wrong it’s nice to win BUT it’s not everything, I could name at least twenty players in your “CLUB” that I have the utmost respect for and consider them to be very good poker players including your so called “Card Manager” who by the way contacted me “once” over the “last two weeks”

Now if qualifying for the league was rally important to me I would have played your economy buy one get one free Monday tournament (sorry drink is starting too take effect) every time! given that your “Card Manager” had given me the heads up….

So this is your idea of removing me from your database!!! maybe someone hacked into your system after you "altered your data base" and inserted my information into your data base....
