Views on the Legal Services Act 2011 - 'Tesco Law'

    As of October 2011 the Legal Services Act shall come into play and Alternate Business Structures (ABS) will be allowed to enter the legal market, offering their services alongside traditional law firms. This act has been coined 'Tesco Law' in the media.

    I am a 3rd year undergraduate student undertaking a piece of research in which I explore how the introduction of the so called ‘Tesco Law’ will impact consumers and their perception and usage of legal services. I am currently looking for current and prospective customers of legal services who are interested in taking part in the research project.

    I imagine peoples knowledge/views of events across the water will be quite limited.

    Ahh ok, i have looked and there is no boards.co.uk - do you know any discusssion groups that would have people with some knowledge on the subject that are UK based? thanks
