In 2008, BBC cameras filmed two Swedish sisters throwing themselves into traffic on the M6. When it was shown on BBC One, nearly 7 million viewers were glued to their screens, and millions more watched it later on YouTube.
The twins met in Ireland before traveling to England. After their odd behavior caused them to be left at an M6 service station, they ran on to the motorway numerous times and were struck by oncoming vehicles, causing Ursula to be incapacitated. Sabina refused medical aid and attacked a police officer, at which point she was arrested.
The footage was shocking. One previewer wrote On no account miss this documentary. It opens with what is perhaps the most extraordinary footage I’ve seen on TV.
But this amazing footage was only part of an even more incredible story, one which could not be told at the time for legal reasons.
Two years later, this documentary reveals the full story of the hours just before the cameras captured that motorway footage, and the even more chilling story of what happened over next 72 hours, which left one of the sisters fleeing the scene of a crime, after she had stabbed a man through the chest.

Thanks for posting that, i remember seeing that on the news and was like "WTF??" Fascinating story and really really weird at the same time. Dont think its the only poor fecker that they're going to harm over their lifetime if that "puff of madness" comes back. Also cant believe Sabine was let out the next day...after running head on into traffic 3 times?!!!!! Very unsettling story!

    They're aliens!!!

On a more serious note, that case was handled incredibly poorly by the UK justice system. Both of them seriously need psychiatric help and monitoring. There's nothing to say that after she's released from prison she won't end up killing another person again... In fact prison time could deteriorate her mental state even further...

Women who runs into oncoming traffic, attacks a police officer, strikes a man with a roof tile and pleades guilty to manslaugher = not a danger to the public

    Wait...wut?

What were the legal reasons for not showing the entire footage?

A morbidly magnetic documentary. The whole concept of folie à deux is just crazy, pardon the pun. To think that a perfectly healthy person might instantly turn insane only on account of someone else's behaviour.... chilling.

According to Wikipedia, she's meant to be released soon and converted to Christianity while in prison. It's scary to think this, but no matter what she does, if folie à deux is the correct diagnosis, then any contact with her sister might trigger an episode of madness once again, and who knows what other people might suffer then.

I feel so bad for the man who was just trying to help and his life ended just like that. Crazy.

Life is certainly cheap nowadays and the usual typical bullshít from Psychiatrists not being able to agree. Half the time these guys as pissing into the wind. Meanwhile a ticking bomb is allowed out to walk the streets, justice my arsé.

Not the first time that can be said!

Anyone else get the feeling this story could easily be taken out of a horror movie about demons and possession?

Very weird indeed. Thanks for posting, missed that on tv
