anyone else think a world cup sub-forum would be a good idea?

Just a suggestion but its getting fairly crowed in here(I know im adding to it by doing this thread) so anyone else think it would be useful to have a world cup subforum? maybe even just specifically for match threads considering the amount of upcoming matchs and the fact there a quite a few stickys and threads about the magners teams and stuff in this forum that will still be posted in.

just a thought, and im not sure it was brought up already sorry if i missed it.

nah, although it will be busy enough here it really wouldn't warrant a sub forum especially for how limited a duration it is on for. I'll leave this open though just incase there is a massive wave of support for it

Don't think there's a need tbh. The forum will basically become a World Cup forum anyway over its duration, aside from the provinces' match and team talk threads. The Pro12 match threads die away 2/3 days after the game, unless there's a big talking point.

Maybe just do a thread for each group and can discuss the games in their appropriate pool thread , well bar the Irish games seeing as they will have their own threads anyway.

ie.

RWC 2011 Pool A Games/Gossip/Discussion

First post in each thread could have the team squads and match schedule and take it from there. What about that???

Would just make it 4 threads then besides the Irish games

Good idea, but I think games like France vs New Zealand, Wales vs South Africa etc should have their own threads. Interest in those games will be high enough to merit that IMO.
