Glandular Fever and Heart Surgery

Hi, I'm 18 and I'm due to have my pacemaker replaced on September 12th. Today I noticed a red rash on my neck and chest and now my glands in my throat are starting to hurt. I'm afraid I have glandular fever and I'm worried this will stop me from having surgery. I know I might be over reacting but worst case scenario would having glandular fever cause my operation to be postponed?x
