New Vaio, Clean OS Install

So I bought myself a shiny new Sony VAIO, love it! Naturally tho it comes with all the usual rubbish installed so I'm gonna do a nice new clean install of Win 7

However from previous experience a clean install makes quite a lot of stuff stop working, like FN controls and stuff.

Anyone know if there is a particular order I need to install drivers in, or a better way of doing this?

If you order direct from sony there is actually an option to get JUST the OS, this should seriously be an option for all their devices!

Driver order shouldn't be an issue really. In fairness Win7 does quite a good job at locating and installing 99% of drivers automatically after installation...and even then the rest are usually found on the manufacturers or 3rd party sites (Nvidia etc).

My advice would to use DriverMax or similar to backup the pre-installed drivers for any potential issues.
