12 month contract mandatory?

    Hey,

    I'm moving into a student house for 9 months this week. House has no TV or broadband connection. We were looking at UPC but online I discovered they wanted a minuimum 12 month contract. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can do? We only want a 9 month contract.

    UPC have a 9-month student offer but I don't think they advertise it on their site any more.

    If you just want an Internet connection (midband, not broadband), then O2's student offer might appeal. For some reason, they've slashed the cap from 15 GB to 10 GB this year.
