Hi guys I'm in the market for an AV Amp and speaker package.

I'm looking at these options could you price and advise on the best option please? i understand that the monitor speakers are more expensive (I still have the pair i got from you guys years ago) so i'm a fan, but will i notice the difference in a 7M x 2.8M room?

Onkyo 609 and the Monitor Audio 5.1 package
Onkyo 609 and Tannoy SFX 5.1 package

I'm in the market for a TV too, something large costing less that 1K am i better popping in?
feed back here would be nice though, thanks

    Hi Stoner.

Cheers for the post and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

In my honest opinion, the Tannoy SFX package doesn't do the Onkyo receiver justice. It's capable of producing a lot more quality than the Tannoy's can reproduce.

If your room is that size, then I would be recommending a larger speaker than the Tannoy anyway.

Was it the Vector package that you were thinking of as the alternative ?

On the TV front, there are quite a few options, but if you let me know what size you were thinking of, I'll bounce you a few options.

I'm sure we can work you out a decent price on the lot.

    Cheers

    Dave
