Next one leaves Ballincollig at 1800. Number 232. You can get it at any stop in the town. Obviously on the proper side of the road (the side with Dunnes, the new Aldi, Oriel House etc.).

Edit: Sorry! Read it as if you wanted to go into town. There's one from Cork to Ballincollig at 1800 and at 1830. There's a good few stops the whole way through Ballincollig, so it would depend where you want to go.

    Hello!

I'm going to visit Cork in October and use this bus to get from Cork to Ballincollig. One thing isn't clear for me: in this table there are some time points on bus stop Ballincollig (Town Centre) and somewhere there are no time points.
Can I use all of this buses to get to Town centre or just only these where I see time near this bus stop?

    Thanks in advance

That does look a little confused. The timetable is a composite of routes 232 and 233. http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1288106268-Cork-Suburban-Map.pdf

    There are two factors:
    1. Some buses completely avoid the town centre, going on the far side of the river.
    2. Some times are fixed intermediate times, but buses will stop at all relevant stops en-route.

I would be of the opinion that you can't rely on any bus that doesn't have a time at the town centre.

This bus is a basket case. The only times you can rely on - not including when there is snow - are the terminus times. It will generally (tho not always) leave the bus station (outbound) or Classes Lake (inbound) at times stated. For any intermediate stop within 3 miles of the terminus, I would recommend being at the stop at terminus departure time.

During rush hour, you have more time, but it's the safest option - some drivers absolutely bomb along when there's no traffic, and they do leave early (esp inbound)

Is there not a stop on the Cork to macroom/killarney service that might be quicker?
