Its a lovely course, not too long but tight. The greens were pole-forked about 3 weeks ago so should be coming back now. Played off the back tees its a good challenge. Fairly flat and not too tiring. Great venue for a weekend.

It's been a long time since I played it. It's a nice course and not too hard.

I stayed in the hotel for the weekend and it's great that the golf course is all around it.

Very nice course, one of the best maintained.

Nice course, well maintained, a nice walk and decent greens. Pin positions tend to border on the sadistic, and if you're loose off the tee, the woods will swallow a box of balls on you. It's a bit short for some - there's only maybe 3 holes where a good lash gains a just reward.

A cracking little course that stays very much under the radar because it's not GUI affiliated. I only found it because I drove right by and decided to drop in. Short but very tasty and a good test of golf.

Asked in another thread - but wanted more detail, and more views.

Perfect place, nine of us, 6 real golfers 3 Footballers / Gaa lads on the way out.

    So will suit all.

Kevin, fair play on the photos - I would not have the time for that. I don't even do a practice swing.

Thanks again (this and other thread) - Bally it is then, a pint after and Carlingford for the night.

End of Sept. hope not too cold - I'm a soft Dub, with the wrong clothes.

I was there last week and i think they have 50 women coming from Derry around that time. Should be some craic at night if you clash OP. Enjoy.

2 single lads - but dont think we have a Tiger in the other 7, but you never know. Even Tiger could be in trouble with 50 Derry women - - sorry.

I hope to God above they are not playing Bally. I'm not being sexist or a Portmarnock member - it is just that the greens will be in bits with the high heels. :D

Lol , Carlingford will be full of boards readers now - Golf was never good for meeting women , but the new sport - Golf Hen Weekends.

I'll forward your quote to the lads -- September looks warmer for them now.

The sun rises over the Irish sea - the cooley hills are heating up.

I think they are staying in the Ballymac and playing golf. Check when you are booking as it might not be the same weekend.
