    Hi all,

Just received my first order from Hasbean the other day. I got a Hario mini mill hand grinder and two bags of beans.

I used to always get Starbucks beans ground for my french press but these beans from Hasbean, all I can say is wow.

Order arrived on the 2nd Sept, the beans had been roasted on the 30th August and I got to grind them in my own hand grinder. I am sold!!!!!

Completely different ballgame. My coffee addiction has taken a step up in the world.

Welcome to the dark side :D

You can look forward to no longer enjoying what 90% of people class as coffee.

    Ah the slippery slope.

Great to hear you're enjoying, let us know if you need any help or tips. Which coffee did you go for?

Brazil Fazenda Cachoeira da Grama Bourbon Pulped Natural 2011
    Indian Monsoon Malabar 2011

Both quite different from themselves but both delicious.

The malabar wouldn't be my cup of tea at all but the cachoeira is fantastic.

I would agree that the cachoeria is fantastic. Definatetly my favourite of the two . The malabar is unusual but it has grown on me.

Speaking in really general terms, I tend to prefer S. American to African or Asian.

Swampy, this might be of interest to you if you haven't seen already:

I discovered Hasbean via here and my 2nd delivery arrived last week. I started off with a Bolivian then tried an Ethipoian Yirgaceffe. I'm amazed at the difference already.

I'm using HasBean for the past year or so, having just placed my sixth order. I've tried many varieties at this stage, and I also have a bias towards S American. Excellent service and excellent coffee.
