Just a heads up that tickets go on sale this Thursday for those who have registered their interest. Presale ends on Sunday evening when they go on sale to the general public.

To go or not to go. I always wanted my first Bears experience to be at Soldier Field, against the Packers. But I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from going to the London game!

Would love to see Steelers in Ireland. Dan Rooney get to work!

If you have ever been to a game in the US its nothing like that :D You get mixed reactions from people. Many say it is poor some say its awesome and others say its ok.

Having grew up in the US and been to many games and also 2 over in England. I honestly have to say the atmosphere is quite bad. Pretty quiet and just a completely different experience from the one you'd get in America. Suppose the difference is that everyone that goes back in the states is a passionate fan or either team that's playing. Whereas in England you have a mix of fans from every team and people going that are just curious about the spectacle and may not be too familiar with the sport. So you don't get a stadium full of people into and reacting what's happening on the field.

I was at the first one involving the Giants & Dolphins. Whilst it was a good experience there were fans of all teams there so barring a few sections of fans there was no atmosphere like what you would see in america. I tried to get behind the Fins but was hard going. This year i wont have that problem as i'm a Bears fan. The atmosphere may not be great but i know i'll be more into it.

Also i never got to experience the tailgate party which is supposed to be good so gonna give that a try this year

Free tickets for me this year :) also (nearly) free 5 star hotel and 30 euro flights... i'm going to enjoy the game ;)

I was at the Niners v Broncos and the Saints v Chargers. Atmosphere is very mixed as most people dont know what to do, when to chant or even who to cheer for. its a very good stadium to watch a game in though and if there are a few of you sure you make your own atmosphere especially a couple of hours in!! if you've never seen an NFL game I'd recommend it but I'd imagine it's a poor substitute for a real game!

For me I'd love the Seahawks and Titans.

I think people generally love the atmosphere. Obviously you get the people going to see the game who are NFL fans but you also get the people going for the experience of a game.

I presume most people head over for the weekend?
Last year flew over very early on the Sunday 6am flight so was wrecked after the game and went to bed. Year before went for a long weekend.

This year will be going over around 3pm on the Saturday, looking forward to it!

Thanks for the replys guys! Answers were what I thought.

Think I might stick with the idea of trying to get over to see a game in the states. Thanksgiving Packers @ Lions is the plan if I can sort it out at work

    Just ordered my tickets there.

For anybody who has went before, What are endzone tickets like for looking at the game?

My tickets are down there right beside them awful looking garage door things in the corner.

I was in the club section (middle tier) behind the niners end zone last year, the view was fine, wembley is SOME ground. Atmosphere was great i thought, though heavily biased towards the niners given that they were home team and all the activities were based around them. You see fans of every team about though, its a great trip for any NFL fan

I was at the Chargers Saints game in 2008. I enjoyed the day as the game was pretty close, but the experience versus an American stadium is very different. Its interesting to see ALL the NFL jerseys on show as fans from all over Europe converge on Wembley. So by that token the crowd can be somewhat subdued during the game until a BIG play. Wembley becomes NFL property on the day and does its best to replicate the American experience. Thats a very important aspect of the International Series, as I remember the Bears versus the Steelers in Croke Park was a bit of a non event from a spectatators point of view.

Having been to SunLife and Gilette, the Wembley experience is different but an adequate substitute for European NFL fans.

Do go and enjoy every moment. :)

I'm hoping i dont end up in a box for this, would prefer seats a bit higher up than the last 2 years but really looking forward to it all the same.

Edit: Perhaps a mini boards meet up on the Saturday night if people are around?

it's actually on the day of my 1st wedding anniversary. Luckily my wife enjoys a bit of football too but I'll have to think of something romantic to do while we're away.
