Will new job reduce my tax refund

I moved to a job few months but it sadly closed making me redundant. I was on emergency tax this entire time despite presenting my p45 on my first day and my continual harassment of payroll!

Basically I'm signed on for job seekers benefit last week but got one months temporary work starting this week.

I sent in the P50 form seeking a tax refund to the revenue office with a photocopy of my P45.From my documentation I paid couple grand tax,my question is will I get less of a tax refund as I am back employed now?

Hard to say, it all depends on the timing of when Revenue process your P50 vs the P46 from your one month's work. (You need to make it very clear to them what you've been earning, or not, in the interim.)

Worst case, you won't get a refund at all one: they'll just leave it to be paid back to you from your 1-month employer. And if they have a policy of not paying back more tax than you actually earned in total you may not get it all back now.

Worst case, it will all work out early next year, when you can ask for a P21.
