Hi lads I need help 1. identifying this AEG and 2. help with getting the motor out.
have this AEG infront of me, looks like any M4 the only things that might help I.D it are a grey-ish plastic body, and on the motor it says Cybergun (so a Cybergun M4, yes but any more info would be awesome) also the second and more important part. the motor isn't turning when i pull it out of the gear box so it think it's not working but i can't get it fully out of the pistol grip as the flippin' thing is soldered into the handguard. any one know how to work around this? like is there another way of getting it out or was the soldering done by a previous owner? as i find it a very weird way of keeping the wires in place.

    Thanks :)

Lots of AEG have the wires soldered to the motor tabs and other then it being awkward is really a very good method for high speed setups as you get a better connection then the normal push on spade connectors
You will need to get the soldering iron out to disconnect the wires, if you have a solder sucker all the better

+1 for above but you can check the motor before hand by using a battery and two lenghts of wire, place end of one in the positive and the other in negative terminals of the tamyia(dont let them touch) and then touch them off the corosponding terminals on the motor. if it spins, bingo, working, and somethings amiss furthe up the chain

either way working or not the motor will have to be removed to find the problem,so soldering iron it is unless you wanna rewire it and use spade connectors where then you can just cut them off.but will still require soldering the new wire at the trigger switch and for cleaning the motor connectors

as for the greyish colour,i have a classic army sportline that i would describe the colour as you did above
