I went to book my NCT test there online and had my Vehicle Registration Cert in front of me. When i entered my reg number and date of registration it couldn't find a match. Got my NCT cert and the date of registration is different on it than on my Registration Cert, there is a few days in the difference. Put in that date and it found the car.
Anyone know how that could have happened? Would it just be a misprint on the NCT cert? Is it going to cause me hassle when i try sell the car?
    Thanks

Which date from registration certificate are you talking about?

Is it field "B1" (date of first licensing in Ireland)?
Or maybe field "I" (date of registration in Ireland)....

"I" should match date on NCT cert, and you should use that one while logging online.

Oops. That'll teach me to quickly scan things. Hadn't noticed the other date. :o

"B1" is the date when motor tax was first paid for the car.
"I" is the date when it got registration number.
