McCloskey, Frampton and O'Kane in Belfast on the 10th of September
Fury + 9 other Irish fighters (many of whom from/near Belfast) on the 17th of September.

Does Rogan seriously believe there's room for him to host a card at the Odyssey just over a month later. Considering the opponent isn't of a particularly great standard either and many potential options for undercard fighters could be eliminated by the previous two bills (although some will feature no doubt).

Building it up as a World title bout is disgraceful too, as is the disrespect shown by Rogan by eliminating the name of Peter Maher from the history books. Okay Maher was never the best Heavyweight in the World at any point but he does technically hold a very strong claim to being champion (at the time when there was only one champion), and Fitzsimmons wasonly recognised as champion after his victory over Maher.

Tom Sharkey also holds a controversial claim to being Heavyweight champion of the World. Winning a (bull****) DQ over Fitzsimmons, while Fitzsimmons was champion. Rogan claiming to be a heavyweight champion if he takes the WBU title is far more ridiculous than that, infact it's nonsense really.
The saddest part of all this is that I'm not sure he's definitely going to get the win here either, if his last two fights are anything to go by he probably won't.

Belfast man Rogan, 40, has been selected by the WBU as the man they want to showcase the organisation’s revived belt and return to the forefront of world championship boxing.

Winning the title on home soil could launch Rogan into world title contention with the reigning team of brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko. And, he wants nothing more than to bring one – or both – of the Ukrainian giants to Belfast.

Wishful thinking! An Irish man will be crowned The Worlds Strongest Man before that happens.

I can'y help but think this is all a bit of a setup. After the Haye fight, Klitschko & Tyson Fury were being mentioned for a possible fight in not to distant future that Fury refuted saying he was too young/inexperienced.

Fury & Rogan have some beef over there then possible fight later this month. Suddenly(out of nowhere) Rogan could have a world title which makes a fight against Fury for a "world title" all the more marketable and if/when Fury wins that fight, its sets up his fight against either Klitschko for sort of unification(Klitschko's Vs everyone else) fight.

Maybe I'm just overly cynical but we'll see how this plays out.

I personally would have zero interest in paying to goto the Rogan fight
